Events By Jacklyn is looking for spring/summer interns! If you're friendly, hard-working, servant hearted, a good communicator and interested in a job in the wedding industry then this internship could be the perfect fit for you! EBJ interns should take direction well, while also being confident enough to take initiative on a specific project or task. We want someone who enjoys wearing a smile on their face and who's natural inclination is to listen before they speak. Sound like you? Then keep reading!
We offer two types of internships:
1. Wedding Day Only
All EBJ interns should have at least some availability on the weekends this fall. Wedding Day Interns will be assisting with all aspects of the wedding weekend including but not limited to: set-up of wedding details and décor, assisting with the coordination of the vendor team, assisting with guest seating, assisting with the coordination of the processional and recessional, being a runner for the lead planner throughout the duration of the event, and assisting with event break-down, etc.
2. Wedding Day and Behind-the-Scenes
If, aside from the actual wedding day management, you’re interested in helping with our everyday behind-the-scenes, there is an option for you to join me on a weekday to help with some of the front-end aspects of wedding planning. You may be helping with the aspects of wedding planning including but not limited to: assembling welcome gifts, taking inventory, sending emails, replying to emails, creating work-flow templates, updating pictures and content on marketing sites and eventsbyjackyn.com, working within EBJ’s wedding planning software, etc. I just want to say upfront as well that my availability for this type of intern is very limited and is not a guarantee but I have had success with this type of intern in the past so I wanted to put it out there as a potential option.
Events by Jacklyn's internships are unpaid but we think there's tons of value in the things you will learn and experience along the way!
